Saul will talk about his new book – Operation Thunderbolt: Flight 139 and the Raid on Entebbe Airport – at the Chalke Valley History Festival on Sunday 28 June at 6.45pm. He will also appear twice in the BBC tent that day: discussing the BBC series Armada with Jessie Childs, Anna Whitelock and executive producer Cameron Balbirnie (10-11 am); and debating heroes with David Starkey and Amanda Foreman for a recording of BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking (5-6pm).
