Saul at Chalke Valley History Festival

Saul will talk about his new book – Operation Thunderbolt: Flight 139 and the Raid on Entebbe Airport – at the Chalke Valley History Festival on Sunday 28 June at 6.45pm. He will also appear twice in the BBC tent that day: discussing the BBC series Armada with Jessie Childs, Anna Whitelock and executive producer Cameron Balbirnie (10-11 am); and debating heroes with David Starkey and Amanda Foreman for a recording of BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking (5-6pm).  Click here for details and to book tickets

Saul lectures on Wellington at Windsor Castle

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, Saul will be giving an evening lecture on the Duke of Wellington’s contribution to the Allied victory in 1815.
